Nueva camada Nov 09

Yorkie GARBY

She is the oldy and fatty Garby
She was given as a present to mi older daughter Vanessa when she graduated from the secondary.
She was so happy, and Garby took inmediately an important place in the house.

So loved and appreciated and she is absolutely aware of that.

Sometimes she misbehaves herself especially when she is alone at home. Once I caught her climbed up on the dinner table and she was astonished when I found her, she never dares to do that when we are around.

...and this is TOM

A strong young male with strong personality.
Bad mud, always with a strong sense of territory and ownership.
Not to mention how difficult it is to get comb and have a bath for him.

The pregnant bitch needs to make at least a daily walk, should avoided, however, excessive stress and jumping. During the second month, diet should be improved and meals doubled, but without falling into excesses. A week before the expected date of delivery requires the availability of a place paragraph and quiet of the house to the box where the dog and his house litter. Childbirth When approaching the end of pregnancy, the female shows generally disturbed, dug into the ground and tries to build a "nest" where they feel comfortable. The day before the birth, the female does not usually eat in the 12-24 hours, the rectal temperature drops one degree. It is therefore advisable to take the temperature of the bitch during lso days immediately preceding the birth, making the transaction subject to the same time and taking note of the exact extent. It is important that the dog knows where to give birth.

Its provisions shall, in a paragraph but cozy place, a box entitled thereto, generally wood, dimendiones variables as the volume of your body and for a dogs are of average size 80cm x 100cm, with a cushion 30cm x 40cm. During the winter, and if you do not have a sufficient heating must placed on the box of an infrared bulb, trying not on for too long. During delivery the bitch should have the peace of mind possible as it usually performs without help any all operations, however, we must be prepared to act, you might need them. Cahorros usually leave the head and front legs widespread, although they may appear in Podol position, which is not what cause complications during delivery. If, by contrast, are a or two legs and head separately, difficulties can arise. should not be Pull the legs of puppies, as the sensitive yet tejidosson and could tear. Carefully enough to help the mother in Thrust movements performed on a regular basis. If the female has over of three years, and especially if this is your first delivery, might have some difficulty to remove the first cub, which can to use more than one hour. Each puppy come all wrapped in a kind of transparent bag (bag amniotic) that the dog tears and swallowed after birth. The puppy start to breathe stimulated by the mother, who is intensely lame after after breaking the umbilical cord with her teeth, at the abdomen. A Then it pushes your breasts up decisively. The placenta can be ejected along the umbilical cord, or after about 5-10 minutes after birth of each puppy, after which the mother comes to eating. If the dog is nervous, the last puppy can take up to 18 hours to reach the world. The length of confinement varies, depending on the number of puppies and other maternal factors, between 4 and 8 hours, and you can even extend over 24 hours without problems. In any case, if more than 8 hours is recommended to visit the vet. The blood loss during delivery are generally a abundant, and have a dark green with light pink shades as well as a intense but not disgusting smell. If, by contrast, have shades yellowish, purulence or dismiss an unpleasant odor, can are faced with a uterine infection, with consequent danger to the mother and puppies. Greenish losses may occur even several hours before removal of the first puppy was due to the emission of blood clotted hematoma caused by the detachment of the placenta. In case of further difficulties, can be used to caesarean section, practicing veterinarian with the implementation of total anesthesia. Within 24 hours after delivery, will visit the vet, especially if the dog has suffered increasing temperature. We must also verify that the uterus of the bitch shows an evolution normal after delivery. In fact, in the first days after delivery the uterus secretes certain membranes and blood clots as a normal process, if prolonged, intensified, or produce a foul odor, you should consult the veterinarian. A few days after birth, due to the high number of pups that bitch has given birth, you may receive a kind of tetany caused by lack of calcium, which accumulates in the milk (eclampsia or puerperal tetany). After birth, the female remains for a long time in their kennel, and it is not easy to move away from it. We must walk cone eye, because in these days dog is particularly aggressive towards strangers and other dogs, and their instinct forces you to ensure the safety of their children. Breastfeeding is last for 40-50 days to weaning, but from 20-25 days can supplement the feeding of the pups with some prepared nutritious. During breastfeeding, you should ensure that all broadcast nipples milk.
